What is beta glucan?
Beta glucan is a unique natural polysaccharide found in some types of mushrooms, yeasts or grains. It is a substance with enormous potential and the breadth of its effects is still being explored, especially in recent years when its properties have been very well documented.
When developing NATUR APATYKA’s products, we always take into account the selection of the right type of beta glucans in order to achieve maximum effectiveness while using gentle production methods. That is why we use all three types of beta glucans in our products - i.e. beta glucans from oyster mushrooms, beta glucans obtained from the cell walls of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae and beta glucans found in oats OatSilk. The last two mentioned beta glucans are an integral part of NATUR APATYKA’s cosmetics in particular thanks to which the skin as well as the oral cavity, teeth and hair can profit from the beneficial effects of beta glucans.
